  • Is it safe to learn?

    The DVSA confirmed that driving lessons could recommence from the 4th July 2020 in England. We have taken additional steps to help reduce the spread of the virus. These include:-

    • 80% Hand Gel used before starting the lesson
    • Cleaning of the car between lessons
    • Introduction of Face Coverings
    • Bring only what can be kept on your person to lessons
    • Windows will need to be open during lessons
    • During conversations both Student and Instructor should face forward
    • If you have symptons before or after a lesson, please inform your instructor.
  • What lesson packages are available?

    We offer driving lessons for 1 hour, 90 minutes or 2 hour lessons booked at least 48 hours in advance. We also offer block booking options, please contact us to discuss your needs.

  • How do I book a lesson?

  • Do I need to have passed my theory test before I book lessons?

    Although there is no need to have passed your Theory Test before starting your driving lessons, you MUST have passed the test before you can apply for your practical test. Starting to learn the Theory of driving before your lessons may be beneficial.

  • How do I book my theory test?

    You can also call to book your test, you will need your provisional driving license to complete the booking. 

  • How many lessons will I need to learn to drive?

    This depends very much on your general skills, age and the time you can invest in your driving lessons. According to official statistics, the average person takes about 45 lessons with an instructor plus 22 private hours to pass the test. Generally, learners who have been cycling, riding a moped or have similar experience will generally learn to drive more easily

  • Do I need to have passed my theory test before I start driving Lessons?

    You don’t need to pass your theory test prior to starting driving lessons, however, it is a good idea to have made a start on learning the theory part, and practising the hazard perception, as this will really help with your lessons as the theory knowledge will help on your driving lessons.

  • I passed my driving test a while ago but haven’t driven since, can I take refresher lessons?

    Yes, we offer refresher lessons for those wishing to brush up on their skills or gain confidence to drive on their own.

  • Can I take Motorway lessons with you?

    Whilst we try to ensure all our customers get to experience driving on the motorway prior to their driving test, we understand not everyone will have had this opportunity prior to passing their test, we therefore offer motorway lessons to full licence holders and learners* (subject to learners having learnt the necessary skills before hand)

  • I have my test booked and my driving instructor is no longer available, can I use your car?

    Whilst we are happy to help where we have availability, we do not offer a car rental service, and a 2 hour driving assessment will be required prior to committing to use of any of our cars for driving test.

  • Can I meet my instructor before my first driving lesson?

    Yes, we are always happy to do home visits prior to your first lesson so you can get to meet your instructor first and ask any questions you may have. This is a free of charge service.

  • Do you conduct my driving test?

    No, your driving test will be conducted by a DVSA examiner, at your local test centre. 

  • What car will I use for my driving test?

    You will normally use the same car as you have been taking your driving lessons in.
